Multi-axis machining
In the system it is possible to create NC programs for 4 and 5 axis machining. On a milling machine that has rotary heads or rotary tables, it is necessary to include the mode of use for the rotary axes and to set their positions.
Multi-axis machining can be undertaken in SprutCAM in two ways: setting of the positions for the rotary heads and their coordinate systems with the necessary rotations and offsets. For controlling of the 4 (3+1) and 5 (3+2) axes, it is necessary to activate the rotary head (table) and to set the parameters for the rotary axes (axes directions and the points through which they pass).

In the system it is possible to create NC programs for 4 (3+1) and 5 (3+2) axis machining. On a milling machine that has rotary heads or rotary tables, it is necessary to include the mode of use for the rotary axes and to set their positions.
 4 and 5 axis machining
To make the creation of the machining processes simpler, it is possible to create any number of local coordinate systems (CS). The coordinate systems can be set as a parameter for any of the machining operations.
The possibility to use 4 and 5 fixed axis for all 3D machining operations, greatly increases the machining possibilities for the "one hit" machining of components.
